About the course and instructor

This site is for students enrolled in the course THEO 712 at Queen’s University.  Living wisely:  an introduction to wisdom literature.  The course syllabus is posted here, and will other comments and resources as the course continues.  Looking forward to seeing you all January 9th!  If you get the chance, please read the Introduction in the required text:  The Tree of Life, by Roland Murphy.  3rd Edition.

Greg Davidson is Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of Religion, Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, and Minister of Word and Sacrament at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Beaconsfield, QC.  He has a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible from The University of Cambridge, U.K.
